Comfort Inn & Suites Madison - Airport

While the hotel itself wasn't anything spectacular, everything was clean and the location was convenient. What made this experience a 5 star was absolutely the staff. We got in about midnight and the desk clerk was friendly and welcoming. In the morning, Mr. Mike was observed to go out of his way to make sure visitors were having a great day while getting their breakfast and beverages. Personally, I found Mr. Mike to be very polite, joyful, friendly, and outgoing. He treated every guest like a long lost friend, and he made my day.

Where do I begin?.. well first, i called before we got there, like an hour or so beforehand telling them that we would be there soon, because it was getting late. But when we got there at around 11:30 pm, the guy at the front desk seemed confused when i was checking in and asked if we already checked in and said that someone else got checked into our room. Under my name? Like how does that happen? And why was an ID not taken from that random person? We waited another 15ish minutes until they said they found us another room that was the same. Thats all i cared about, was getting the same type of room i paid for. Didnt get much of an apology. The maintenance guy said all the doors to the hotel work. And it did the first time we went in, but when we went out to get food and came back, the outside door we go through to get to our room was not working. So we had to walk all the way to the other door. The room itself was okay. It was spacious. The lights were outdated and flickering. One of the TVs were not working. I did feel a bit rushed when i was leaving the next morning. I thought check out was 12? and like 20 mins before 12, i had a housekeeper knocking at my door. i had just gotten out of the shower. what if i was in the shower and didnt hear them?! would they have just walked in? i just told them i would be leaving soon. When I walked out, their cart was right next to my door, like they were just waiting for me to leave. I probably wont be staying here again.
